SLW to Speak at Financial Planning Association: U.S. Income Tax Rules for Assets Held Outside of the U.S.

On November 14, Helena Yang, Tax Manager at Spott, Lucey & Wall, will speak at a session hosted by the Financial Planning Association’s Asian-American/Pacific Islanders Knowledge Circle titled: Asian-American/Pacific Islanders Knowledge Circle: U.S. Income Tax Rules for Assets Held Outside of the U.S.

In this session, Helena will provide an overview of the definition of U.S. tax residency and explore the U.S. income tax implications and foreign disclosure requirements associated with common types of foreign assets held by U.S. tax residents.
