We at Spott, Lucey, and Wall are pleased to announce Jordan Reichelt is now a partner in the firm, as of July 1st, 2023.

Jordan Reichelt, CPA

Jordan graduated from University of Washington’s Foster School of Business with a concentration in accounting and human resource management and joined the firm in 2011. He received his Master of Science in Taxation in 2018 and Certificate in International Tax in 2020 from Golden Gate University. His thesis focused on the implications of the GILTI tax regime for U.S. owners of controlled foreign corporations.  

Jordan specializes in bringing clarity to the unique tax implications and compliance issues faced by businesses and individuals with cross border transactions or relationships. Jordan is our lead specialist on the GILTI regime and works extensively with the U.S. owners of foreign businesses to structure or restructure their businesses for global tax efficiency. Jordan works closely with high-net-worth families and internationally mobile executives to understand and apply solutions for the complex tax issues presented by their global investments, stock compensation, and foreign pensions.

Tyler Dixon, CPA

Tyler graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo’s College of Business with a concentration in accounting and joined the firm in 2013. He received his Master of Science in Taxation with honors in 2020 and Certificate in International Tax in 2022 from Golden Gate University. His thesis focused on the U.S. tax implications for U.S. beneficiaries of foreign trusts.

Tyler specializes in tax consulting and compliance services for businesses and individuals with complex cross border transactions including foreign-owned U.S corporations, U.S. corporations with foreign operations, U.S. individuals investing abroad, and foreign investment in U.S. real estate. Tyler is our firm’s leading expert in tax implications for expatriates under IRC Section 877A, U.S. beneficiaries of foreign trusts and foreign beneficiaries of U.S trusts. Tyler works extensively with high-net-worth families and their businesses from pre-immigration tax planning, income tax and foreign disclosure filings, to transactional tax consulting to find practical solutions to their complex tax issues.
